Cafe Maera in Tochigi Prefecture is a special cafe where you can freely interact with therapy dogs.
When you step inside the cafe, you will be warmly greeted by the unique therapy dogs. Unlike many dog cafes, the time you spend here is a moment of healing that will gently relieve your mental tension. We place great importance on creating a space where everyone, from children to adults, can naturally smile.
Cafe Maera is also managed by the Tochigi Animal Therapy Association, an NPO, and your visit helps support animal therapy activities at local welfare facilities and hospitals.
Enjoy delicious drinks and sweets while spending some relaxing time with the therapy dogs.

Cafe Maeraを運営するNPO法人のクラウド ファンディングが始まりました
Cafe Maeraを運営する「NPO法人とちぎアニマルセラピー協会」は、鹿沼市ふるさと納税型クラウドファンディング活用公益活動支援事業に採択され、寄附の募集を開始しました。
今回の事業では、鹿沼市内の福祉・医療・教育・介護施設等へのセラピードッグ無償訪問や、図書館での読書犬体験会など、市民の皆様に向けた活動を継続して行います。
Cafe Maeraは、こうしたアニマルセラピー活動を支える拠点として運営しています。
犬たちの健康管理や衛生管理、活動備品、安全対策、訪問活動の運営には継続的な費用が必要です。
活動の継続に向けて、無理のない範囲でご支援いただけますと幸いです。

営業時間変更と価格改定のお知らせ
いつもCafe Maeraをご利用いただき、ありがとうございます。
セラピードッグたちの体調管理と、無理のない店舗運営のため、営業時間を以下のとおり変更しております。
【営業時間】
・平日：11:00～17:00
・土・日・祝・祭日：10:00～18:00
【定休日】
・月曜日、火曜日
※祝日・祭日は営業いたします。
また、原材料費や諸経費の上昇に伴い、メニューの価格を改定いたしました。
詳しい内容は、店内のメニューをご確認ください。
犬たちが落ち着いて過ごせる環境を守りながら、これからも皆さまに心安らぐ時間をお届けできるよう努めてまいります。

新しい仲間「霄（しょう）」を迎えました
Cafe Maeraに、新しい仲間が加わりました。
白いボルゾイの男の子、「霄（しょう）」です。霄は2026年3月6日生まれ。5月8日に山梨県から迎えました。
「霄」という名前には、「高い空」「天空」という意味があります。これから少しずつ世界を広げながら、健やかに成長してほしいという願いを込めています。
現在は、店内で過ごしながら、新しい環境や先輩犬たちとの暮らしに少しずつ慣れているところです。
まだ成長期の子犬のため、体調や休憩を優先しています。ご来店時に会えることもありますが、状況によっては休んでいる場合があります。
梛との大切な思い出を胸に、霄の成長も温かく見守っていただければ幸いです。
今後、SNSでも成長の様子をお伝えしてまいります。

ボルゾイ・梛 永眠のお知らせ
当店のボルゾイ「梛（なぎ）」が、永眠いたしました。
梛は、セラピードッグとして大きく活動に出ることは多くありませんでしたが、Maeraで過ごす中で、たくさんのお客様に静かな癒しを届けてくれました。
大きな白い姿で穏やかにそこにいるだけで、心を和ませてくれる存在でした。
これまで梛を可愛がってくださった皆さま、温かく見守ってくださった皆さまに、心より御礼申し上げます。
梛と過ごした時間は、私たちにとっても、Maeraにとっても、大切な宝物です。

If you are using our facility for the first time, we ask that you present proof of rabies vaccination and proof of vaccination.
There is no "admission fee" for assistance dogs and their training dogs, so please present proof of this.
Donation Information
Our cafe, Cafe Maira, is run by the Tochigi Animal Therapy Association, an NPO, and all fees collected from eating and drinking in the cafe and interacting with therapy dogs are used as donations for animal therapy activities .
This is a social contribution activity that involves visiting elderly care facilities, hospitals, schools, etc., and bringing healing and smiles to many people through interactions with therapy dogs.
Donations will be used to cover the costs of managing the dogs' health and training, transportation costs for visits, and operation and maintenance costs.
We ask those who understand and agree with these aims to cooperate in the form of a donation, but if you do not agree with the aims, you will not be forced to donate.
In that case, please feel free to let our staff know.
Your understanding and warm support will lead to the success of our dogs and the smiles of many people.
